Health Guide App
WHOLE-PERSON HEALTH PLATFORM
A health coaching platform where clear, warm writing is part of the care.
MOBE pairs members with a personal Guide or Pharmacist who works with them on a supported health journey. Members are supported through an app that’s focused on goal-setting, habit tracking, and health education. I wrote the content across the full platform—from onboarding and navigation copy to in-app articles, tracking prompts, and goal-setting language, to the microcopy that moves users through the experience.

Working toward the solve.
Health apps often struggle to meet users when it comes to speaking to them in the right tone. The MOBE app is warm and personal without losing credibility, and medically grounded without feeling like a pamphlet. The app also touches some of the most sensitive parts of a person's life: their weight, their stress, their emotional health, their long-term goals. Every screen and interaction had to earn the user's trust before asking anything of them.
HOME SCREEN TO TRACKING
Getting “the Daily Experience”
The core of the app: a personalized home screen, health tracking across movement, sleep, mood, and nutrition, and detailed views for emotional health and stress. Every label, prompt, and data description needed to be straightforward, yet warm enough to keep users motivated and wanting to come back.
PLAN, GOALS, MEDICATIONS, EXPLORE
Planning and Support
Here’s where users set their vision, define goals (small and large), manage medications, and connect with their Guide. The copy holds space for where someone is in their health journey, while pointing toward where they want to be.
THE IN-APP ARTICLE
Topic Deep Dives
A full in-app educational article showing the voice and structure of MOBE's educational content. Plain language, second person, encouraging without overpromising are just some of the focus areas for writing. It’s built to be read on a phone by someone who is trying to make a real change in their life.
What I brought to it.
The app touches almost every dimension of a person's health. This includes their weight, their stress, their sleep, their long-term goals—and it does it inside an app on their phone. Copy needed to orient the user, encourage activity and usage, and clarify misconceptions.
I kept the voice consistent and made sure the educational content felt like useful information rather than a lecture. In a product/app this personal, it was important to keep the user moving forward and motivated.
